Confidence and charisma are both skills that can be learned and mastered. In today’s increasingly globally online world, it is not enough to just know your job, to be successful, you must be able to speak eloquently and convincingly about your subject, and interact with a certain degree of savoir faire on a variety of topics; to an international audience!
This 4-hour seminar is designed for actors, teachers, and business professionals. It is Part 1 of a 4-step programme designed to teach you tools to:
- Exude Confidence: Build confidence, and improve public image
- Be Charismatic: Reduce your nervousness in every situation, and unleash your personal charm
- Be Assertive: Provide tools for self-advocacy and assertiveness while spotting and diminishing confrontational aspects
- Be Persuasive: Increase your likeability factor, by acquiring effective negotiation skills, and a charismatic approach
It is recommended that you take the Ain’t Misbehavin: On Camera class, before or concurrent with this one.
This class is highly participatory, and students are expected to prepare according to the syllabus, be ontime, and complete all assignments as specified. Instruction occurs over a 1-week period with time for instructor’s feedback, student’s adjustment, and individualised sessions for audience (group and instructor) assessment and critique.
