Learning is a tri-part process involving the instructor, the student, and their immediate environment. To be effective and successful in reaching the goal, both parties must perform perform their part, and the environment must be conducive to learning; when this happens, the clearly articulated objectives are met and exceeded!
About the courses
All of the academic courses are comprehensive courses, designed to test your knowledge in the four main skill areas and your ability to articulate these skills by integrating them with the other sub-skills; hence, the classes are progressive, and will build upon prior sessions. The courses are structured to teach you the strategies necessary to succeed in the objective you have established.
Similar to academic courses, the non-academic courses are progressive; however, although they are organically designed, they may not be comprehensive, as the goals are very specific to the desired outcome.
All programmes will combine both personal and computerized interaction. For the personal component, we use an online ZOOM app, and for this reason, it is necessary that you have access to a computer, reliable internet service, and a decent headset (with microphone); the cheap ones will not work very well, and risk reducing your session time to perform trouble-shooting tasks.
Below, you will find all the information related to the cyber classroom. Our intention is to bring you to your specific goal, it is not to take your momey! As such, we ask that you read the guidelines very carefully, as they Will help you in understanding what is needed from you to succeed in the particular course.
If there is anything you do not understand, let us know before you begin, as we have found that smoother experiences and satisfactory results occur when there is clarity at both sides.

Classroom protocol
1. As a part of our service, we provide these sessions to the students at the convenience of meeting them in their home, online, at a schedule that is convenient to them. We ask that the students be respectful to the instructor during this class time, and that the subject be restricted to the class material. Further, it is recommended that the students are always prepared for the sessions by having the course supplies, completing the assignments, and previewing the upcoming class.
2. Students are asked to provide a quiet and safe environment for the instructor and for the lesson; the use of cell phones is discouraged during class-time.
3. Student must test their equipment before each sesión, as time lost in technical difficulties will not be made up, and can only be recovered by booking additional tutor time.
4. If at any time, the instructor feels that the student is not meeting the established schedule, is repeatedly not completing the assignments, and is not keeping up their studies, the instructor will issue two notices of failing in the objective. If the situation continues, the instructor reserves the right to cancel the sessions and students will be refunded for the remaining sessions of their programme, less a reasonable cancellation fee, administrative expenses, or any costs incurred as a consequence. An itemised accounting will be provided.
Cyber-room protocol
1. During the Zoom sessions, we strongly discourage the use of a cellphone, the primary reason for this is that it distracts from the objective of the particular lessons, which focus on listening, speaking, reading, and writing; none of which require a cellular phone.
2. These sessions simulate the real classroom experience, as such, during these sessions students are asked to be always attentive to the teacher, and not to leave the session for any reason; breaks are taken before the sessions begin, and for longer sessions, are scheduled by the instructor.
3. In respect for the teacher and other students involved in the session, students are asked to refrain from browsing, surfing the web, or conducting any other activity not associated with the immediate cyber session.
