Overview

This 4-hour seminar is a semi-private class that is the first of two courses offerred on accent adaptation. It is suited to non-Americans who are looking to standardise their accent to suit the pronunciation standards of the US and international film and theatre industry, and the universally accepted standards for the spoken English language.

Class 1, Accent Dilution, will transition the student from a non-American speech pattern to a more international dialect. The class aims to first evaluate each student’s speech pattern, habits and needs. The second part of the class will focus on teaching you the characteristics of stage standard dialect, and techniques in adapting these habits in your speech.

Who should take this class: All non-Americans, who would like to improve their pronunciation for acting, professional development, international corporate communication, and general discourse

Registration for classes open at 12noon on Sunday, October 22nd, and closes at 12noon on Monday, October 23rd.
